The Bachelor just wrapped up its 16th season where there was more than just a rose presented to the
woman of choice. Bachelor Ben Flajnik got down on one knee and proposed to Courtney Robertson
with a Neil Lane engagement ring in hand. The ring is a stunning cushion cut diamond that is just over 3
carats in size. It is also surrounded with 96 pave-set diamond accents all on platinum. A tulip motif along
the sides also helps to represent the couple’s past, present and future. The ring itself is estimated at
$50,000. The only way that she can keep the ring seated on her finger, however, is if the couple makes
it for two years. This is in the contracts for ABC for anyone who goes on the Bachelor. They have already
had some rocky romance because of the heat of the news being constantly on them, so this ring may
not be destined to stay on the model’s finger for the indefinite future.
With drama surrounding every Bachelor season, this one was particularly interesting because most of
America was expecting the hopeful Lindzi Cox to be the one getting the final rose and the proposal. Ben
Flajnik was the Bachelor for the 16th season. His claim to fame to be among the many contestants who
applied to become the Bachelor for ABC’s hit show was that is the founder of Envolve Wintery, which
took place in 2008. Among the many women that were on the show, he found fireworks with several
women. From southern belles and girls on horseback, true love was established when he laid eyes on
Courtney Robertson. She was compared to a black widow spider amongst other things from the other
women of the house. Ben issued warnings to the other women and his love continued to grow for the
model based out of Santa Monica, California. Since the show has gone off the air, the two of them have
been spotted as recently as two days ago, happy and…still wearing the ring.
